Those who knew Diane knew her as a faithful servant to the Lord. She was currently attending services at FriendShip Baptist Church. As a former member of Old Miakka United Methodist Church, she served in all capacities with the Women’s Group for 20 plus years, with her generosity and talents. She always remembered birthdays, sent cards for encouragement, and lended a helping hand as often as possible.
Combining her passion for Horses and continual devotion to her children she enjoyed being leader of the 4-H Club - Bowlegged Bunch Horse Club for 10 years. Breeding and Showing Quarter Horses came later in life for her.
She was predeceased in death by her daughter, Brenda Bontrager (2003), leaving behind her loving husband, Harley, of 54 years, son Todd (Audie) , granddaughter Tiffany Wallis (Justin), grandsons, Raymond Bontrager and Aaron Bontrager, 4 great-grandchildren: RaeLynn, Andrew, Brady, Gracie.
A Celebration of Renewed Life will be held at: Palm-Robarts Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 170 Honore Avenue, Sarasota, FL 34232 on April 16, 2015 at 6:00 pm.
