Domenic is survived by his wife Kathleen after 57 years of marriage; his daughter, Gina (David) Karp; son, David (Susan); his loving grandchildren; and his sister, Theresa Sciarra. He loved and enjoyed his family and friends.
Domenic attended a Catholic parochial grammar school and was an avid bible study. During college and after, he played football and coached others. He worked as a teacher for over 30 years. He loved science and history and passed on his love of learning to his children and grandchildren.
Domenic was very fond of the arts and enjoyed participating in numerous plays, as acting and singing was his passion. His children will always remember him as putting this family first above all else. They have fond memories of him attending their sports activities, cub scouts, and always being a part of their daily lives. Friends will remember him as telling stories about his travels and his joys of meeting interesting people throughout his lifetime. Domenic’s greatest passion was his wife, Kathleen, who he met at a young age across from his aunt’s home in Orange, Connecticut.
A special thank you to the people at Tidewell Hospice in Bradenton, Florida for their loving care and support during his final days.
The family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude towards Robert Toale & Sons Funeral Home for being understanding during this difficult time.
