Duane Jones, 90, of Sarasota, Florida, passed away on Friday, March 27, 2026. He was born on September 8, 1935, in Easton, Pennsylvania, where he later graduated from Easton High School. He went on to earn an associate’s degree from Churchman’s Business School.
Mr. Jones proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Army. He dedicated 18 years of his career to working at Dixie Cup. Alongside his wife, he also owned and operated Dave’s Deli and Nagelberger Hardware in Pennsylvania.
He had a deep passion for photography and enjoyed playing tennis in his free time.
Mr. Jones is survived by his beloved wife, Jung Kim “Kim” Jones, whom he married in 1959; his sons, Douglas and David, both of Sarasota, Florida; his grandchildren, Ryan of Bath, Pennsylvania, and Meagan of Sarasota, Florida; and his great-grandchild, Liana.
He was laid to rest at Sarasota National Cemetery in Sarasota, Florida.
