Edgar Anthony "Tony" LaPorte, age 78, of Sarasota, Florida passed away on November 27, 2025. He was born on March 3, 1947 in Silver Spring, Maryland to the late Bernard and Lucy LaPorte.
He was a graduate of Spring Valley High School and earned his Bachelor's of Science at the University of Akron in Akron, Ohio.
Tony was a professional golfer with the PGA.
He is survived by his children, Lauren Allen and Tony LaPorte; and grandchildren, Ava Allen and Brooke LaPorte.
