Edward attended & graduated from Kirtland High School and Miami of Ohio University. Edward worked as a Buyer and Sales Manager at Montgomery Ward from 1968 to 1993, (where he met Alice). Then as VP of Product Development at England Corsair in New Tazewell, TN (Knoxville area) until his retirement in 1996.
His goal was to always retire early, which he did at the age of 53 to Sarasota, Florida so he could golf, fish, play tennis, follow his investments, travel and enjoy life with Alice.
He is survived by his loving wife Alice Nierenberg Cotman of Sarasota, FL, Son David Cotman of Atlanta and granddaughter, Kayla Cotman of Atlanta.
Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at 3 PM at Temple Emanu-El, 151 South McIntosh Road, Sarasota, FL 34232.
Contributions may be made to Temple Emanu-El and Tidewell Hospice.
