My dear friend of 71 years. We first met when we were 3rd grade transfers to McKelvey Elementary in Swissvale, Pa. Our friendship grew throughout the years without a single cross word between us. As we aged, I learned that not only did our mothers become good friends but your grandmother Nuzzo and my grandfather Vito Miele sang Neapolitan songs at neighborhood gatherings.
You had a quiet way of pulling people in so that your aunts became my aunts. I have been missing you and praying for you, but now you are at peace and we can pray to you. You have run a good race with all it's ups and downs and left a legacy of a wonderfully loving daughter and her compassionate, loving sons of whom you were so proud.
You, my friend, will always be with me. R.I.P. Go with God and continue to bestow your love on us.

When I was 13 and 14, Elaine came to stay with us in Indiana while she attended IUP. I was astounded by the number of books she had to digest.

I loved having an older almost sibling sister in the house and learned about hair styles, make up and nails that she was happy to share with a very curious cousin. She was always just a happy person to be around and you would be uplifted just to be in her presence.

RIP sweet Elaine.
