Eli was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah C. Gingerich Burkholder.; and two sons in law, Ivan and Larry.
He is survived by his children, Martha, Marie (Dave), Eddie (Rose), Chris (Cindy), Eli Jr. (Linda), Joe (Deborah), Rhoda, Katie, Lillie, Lovina (Phil), Malinda (Johnny) and Chester (Brittany); 42 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild; and 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
A visitation for Eli will be held Monday, June 30, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Sunnyside Mennonite Church, 1001 Honore Ave, Sarasota, FL 34232 with the funeral service starting at 11:00 AM, Burial will follow in Sunnyside Mennonite Cemetery.
