She was born in Greensboro, NC and was a graduate of Greensboro Day School - Class of 1993 and University of North Carolina - Class of 1997.
Ashley is survived by her mother, Elizabeth "Betsy" Shook; her husband, Michael James White; children, Joseph William White and Michael Jonathan White; and siblings, Kathryn Lawrence Howell, Susan Elizabeth Williams and John Andrew Shook.
