Mrs. Mitchell was born on February 3, 1936, in Panama City, Panama, to the late Carlos B. Munoz and Clara J. Saldana Roviera. She graduated from technical school with a degree in Accounting and received her diploma on February 15, 1955.
Eunice devoted her professional life to the culinary field. She had a fulfilling career in cooking and proudly served as a Pantry Chef at the University Country Club in Sarasota prior to her retirement.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Walter E. Mitchell, her parents and sister, Daisey Acosta.
She is survived by her sons, William “Bill” Mitchell (Estella) and Alexis D. Mitchell; siblings, Carlos Munoz, Dixie Johnson, Nixia Price and Maritza Naum; brother-in-law, Dennis Naum, Santiago Acosta, Dr. Johnson and sister-in-law, Betty Munoz and 13 nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home at Palms Memorial Park,170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, FL 34232, on Monday, December 22, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at St. Jude Catholic Church, 3930 17th St, Sarasota, FL 34235 with burial to follow at Palms Memorial Park.
