She was a United States navy Veteran who was awarded a Bronze Star and retired with 20 years of service.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Della Gray; 4 siblings; nephew William j. Walker.
She is survived by her nephew James M. Walker; nieces Sharon Carter and Agnus Walker.
Visitation to be held Monday, March 4 from 4pm to 6pm at Palms-Robarts Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 5 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Palms-Robarts Memorial Park.
