He was born on June 29, 1937 in Hamilton, Ohio to Floyd and Goldie (Langdon) Combs.
Floyd was a graduate of Hamilton High School, Ohio State University and served in the United States Marines as Lance Corporal.
He loved singing and acting especially in the Follies.
Floyd was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Goldie Combs; his wife, Ellen Combs, and a sister, Jane Bisdorf.
He is survived by his children, Douglas Combs (Michelle), Adrienne Combs and Sandra Vittetow; grandchildren, Taylor Corry (Jack), Matthew Combs (Denise), Trey Vittetow and Casey Vittetow; great grandchildren, Reece Corry, Calum Corry and Lucas Combs; his sister, Phyllis Montaine and his brother, David Combs.
Memorial donations in Floyd's memory may be made to the Humane Society.
