Frances Dinardo

Frances Dinardo, 101, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on August 4, 2023 in Sarasota, Florida. She was born Frances Siracusa in Cleveland, Ohio on November 25, 1921 and was a lifelong resident there until her relocation to Florida in 2004.

Frances’ greatest love was for her family. She was the keeper of memories which she shared with photo albums, scrapbooks, and a written memoir of her family’s history.

She enjoyed cooking family dinners and having spirited conversations with everyone at the table. Frances loved nature and animals, and was an avid reader. Till her last years, she followed world events hoping the future would be safe for her children and grandchildren. She loved people and made friends easily. Her gentleness, wisdom, and love of life were infectious. She will be dearly missed but forever in our hearts.

Frances was preceded in death by her father, Charles Siracusa; mother, Catherine Siracusa; husbands, Jerry Lauricella (25 years) and Anthony Dinardo (25 years); sister, Nancy Graceffo; brother, Al Siracusa; brother, August Siracusa; and sister, Anne Cipiti.

Surviving members of her family who will miss her dearly include her daughter, Paula Konicek (Michael) of Sarasota, Florida; son, Charles Lauricella (Marcia) of Miamisburg, Ohio; daughter, Kathy Lauricella of Cleveland, Ohio; brother, Charles Siracusa, of Solon, Ohio; and sister, Angela Masetta, of Solon, Ohio.

She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Celebrations of Frances’ beautiful life will take place at a later time.
