Throughout her life, Frances embraced a true sense of adventure. She loved exploring new destinations, creating beautiful memories, and deeply cherishing every moment spent alongside her late husband, Ralph Votrian, the true love of her life.
She was deeply involved in the lives of her grandchildren as they grew up, continuing a rich legacy of devotion by putting immense effort into being a constant, loving presence in their lives.
Frances is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Votrian; her loving daughter Lori Snyder; and her cherished granddaughter, Amanda Artell.
She is survived by her four remaining children and their spouses: Kenneth (Donna) Artell, James (Helene) Artell, Linda (Mark) Henderson, and Michael Artell. She leaves behind countless happy memories with her grandchildren: Matthew (Crystal) Artell, Cindy Artell, Amber Artell, Troy Artell, Christopher (Tara) Snyder, Haven Bruhn, Taylor Snyder, and Brandon (Lissy) Altice, along with numerous great grandchildren, all of whom brought her endless joy. She will be dearly missed by her wide circle of friends.
A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held on October 24, 2026 at Robert Toale & Sons Funeral Home at Palms Memorial Park at 170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, Florida 34232.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital or St. Vincent de Paul.
