His siblings are Michael Chimenti, Nicholas Chimenti (predeceased), Joseph Chimenti, Marie Salerno and Felicia Goodman.
He lived in Staten Island, Farmingdale and later retired to Sarasota, Florida where he enjoyed his time with his companion Jeannine Freitas. He loved to travel, gamble, watch TV and enjoy life.
He graduated with a BA from John Jay College for Criminal Justice.
