Frank John Joseph Gallo Jr.

Frank J. Gallo, Jr, lovingly known as Frankie, was born on June 17, 1945, in Germantown, Pennsylvania and entered the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on August 9, 2026, in Sarasota, Florida. Frankie was the middle child of Frank and Rita (Trunk) Gallo. Though his parents preceded him, their love and values stayed with him.

Frankie’s life journey was marked by love and family, a joyful spirit and his remarkable way of embracing everyone(BAR NONE) to feel welcomed, accepted and genuinely loved. His family was the center of his life, and he supported them as he was able, sharing the veritable shirt off his back, and creating lasting memories through many Italian meals, gathering and celebrations he helped to make special.

He graduated from Wissahickon High School, Ambler, PA class of 1963. A proud American and Army Veteran, he enlisted in 1965 and served until he was honorably discharged in 1967, when he was stationed in Fairbanks, Alaska. As the story goes, he had to swim through flood waters to claim his discharge papers.

His journey included seasons of hardship, but he never allowed his struggles to define him. Through God’s grace, he found the strength to overcome. As the Apostle Paul wrote, “ I have fought the good fight, I have kept the faith.” (2 Timothy 4:7) Those words beautifully reflect the courage and resilience that characterized his life.

Frankie’s life was rich with passions that brought him fun and camaraderie! He was an avid sports fan, always cheering for the home team, most especially the Philadelphia Eagles (GO BIRDS)! He enjoyed playing table games of any kind with strategy types being his forte. These pleasures transferred over to his love of televised game shows (Frank Gallo come on down!)

He is lovingly survived by his wife Carol Pearce, daughter Dawn and her family, Chris and Cameron, daughter Debbie (husband Eric), granddaughters Autumn, Amber, Erica and great grandkids London and Jet, stepsons Ron and Johnny, stepdaughter Amanda, step grandkids Giselle, Genevieve and Ashely. Frankie leaves behind his brother Anthony (predeceased sister-in-law Suzanne) and sister Rita (June); also, in-laws Joan, Jim (Ellen), his beloved nieces and nephews; and many cherished aunts, cousins, extended family members, dear friends, and countless lives touched by his love. Also not to be forgotten, his feline love – Lucy! He leaves behind a legacy of love and enduring strength. His life was one of purpose and devotion and he will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.

A traditional obituary cannot fully capture the richness of Frankie’s life, but it can honor the man he was and the many ways he touched the lives of others. His memory will remain a blessing to his family and friends, and his presence will be missed in every room he once filled with warmth, laughter and love.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 4-6 PM at The Ringling Grillroom located at the Ringling Museum.
