Herb retired after a successful career with Glaxo Smith Cline, and was an award winning sales manager. He loved the outdoors and was an accomplished water skier. He purchased the “Blew By You”, a 25 foot Catalina, and learned to sail by reading an instruction book. He loved to put on his leather jacket and take off on his Harley Davidson to wherever the road took him. His favorite movies were Top Gun and Pirate’s of the Caribbean. He had quite the sense of humor and loved to prank friends and family. Learning to dance at an early age as his mother’s dance partner, he continued to dance even throughout his illness with his favorite dance partner, his wife.
