Gerry was very active in her younger years, even going rafting through the rapids in the Grand Canyon with her son, Joe. She was also an avid tennis player for many, many years.
Gerry was the beloved mother of her three sons, Michael & his wife, Jennifer Martines; Robert (passed away January 13, 2026) & his wife, Joni; and Joseph Martines. She worked tirelessly as a secretary to provide for them through their youth and on. She will be sorely missed, not only by her sons, but also her grandchildren: Jessica Upham with her husband, their son, and Robert's daughter; and Joseph's daughters, Hope & Rose Martines; two step-granddaughters, Joni's daughters, Helena Weiss & Mari-jo Frey. She had many nieces and nephews, but she was particularly close to Carol-lyn (Tommy) Smith and Linda Karsten.
Gerry is preceded in death by her siblings, Walter, Harriet, and Ray.
Cremation was chosen and a memorial service will be held at later date.
