Gloria Bucci, age 91 of Sarasota, Florida, formerly of Glen Rock, New Jersey passed away January 30, 2019. She was born in New York, NY on October 1, 1927 to Manuel and Antonia Carnero. Gloria was a proud wife of a WWII Army veteran, Jim Bucci, who preceded her in death. She enjoyed sculpting and playing tennis. Gloria also was part of a cooking club and was an avid painter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim and her daughter, JoAnn. Gloria is survived by her sons, Jim, Richard, and David; her grandchildren, Kim, Geoff, Amanda, Heather, Tim, Scott, Kristin, and Kyle; and her siblings, Manny, Amparo, Johnny, and Mary. A Funeral Service for Gloria will take place on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at 1 pm at Sarasota National Cemetery; 9810 State Road 72, Sarasota, FL 34241.
