Gordon C. Crepeaux, 84, of Ellenton, FL. passed away from a Myocardial Infarction (cardiorespiratory arrest) at Manatee Memorial Hospital. Born July 17, 1935, in Olympia, Washington to Cecil Crapo and Ethel(Greene) Crapo. He served in the US Air Force in Intelligence during the Korean War. After his Service term, Gordon chose a career in Heating, Air-conditioning, and refrigeration, owning his own business for 40 years.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Dottie, daughter, Brooke, stepson, John Hufford, daughter in law, Lee Ann Hufford, and stepdaughter, Jennifer Hufford; grandchildren, Jessica & Nathaniel Spatz, Aaron Dorcy, Heather Hufford, Heidi Hufford, Holly Hufford, Harmony Hufford, Great Grandson, Micah Spatz, brother, Monte Craypo, sister, Bonnie Wagoner.
Gordon was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and served as a Trustee in Parrish, FL. He loved his Church family and enjoyed learning and fellowship in two Bible Studies a week until the Cobid-19 prevented large groups from meeting.
After retirement due to medical reasons, Gordon resumed woodworking as a hobby along with raising vegetables, herbs, pineapples, orchids, and cacti.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, June 27th, 2020 at Faith Lutheran Church, 9608 US 301 N, Parrish, FL. There will be no reception lunch due to the Covid-19 Virus and CDC outline.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Faith Lutheran Church to help support our Missionary to Ethiopia, Memo: Rev. Mark & Stefanie Rabe.
