Guy Michael Peluso

He was born on June 6, 1945 in McKeesport, PA to the late Guy Anthony and Anne Peluso.

He met and married the love of his life Karen in Pennsylvania.

In 1983 he and Karen moved their family to Sarasota where he owned Guy Peluso Air Conditioning.

Guy was very active in local softball leagues. He coached, served on the board of directors and sponsored teams at Miss Sarasota Softball. Once his daughter and granddaughter grew older and no longer played softball he found himself a softball league of his own. This home was Venice Senior Softball, there he played, sponsored teams and served as a commissioner of the league. In his later life his youngest granddaughter fell in love with softball, he called it his off day when she played in her softball summer league in Sarasota.

Guy was an avid cook his favorite meals were pasta, lasagna, and mouth-watering Easter ribs. In correlation with cooking along came hosting parties. He threw excellent Christmas parties where "Santa Claus" came every year.

Guy was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Lorne Peluso and sister, Sandy Minetti.

Guy is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Karen; their children, Lysa Peluso, Guy Michael Peluso (Barbara Gormley) and Karlenn Peluso; a sister, Dariyn Peluso; and 3 grandchildren, Harleigh Peluso (Kevin Byrne), Holley Peluso and Ashley Hillock (Brent Buffington); and Lokee, his sweet Chocolate Lab.

A visitation for Guy will be held Tuesday, October 3, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home at Palms Memorial Park, 170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, FL 34232.

Memorial Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Miss Sarasota Softball League.
