Harriette S Halperin

She is preceded in death by her loving husband and high school sweetheart, Neal Halperin and her loving parents Samuel and Bettie Wiener.

She is survived by her loving children Elisa (Michael) Rosen of Yorktown Heights, NY; Mitchell (Brenda) Halperin of Sarasota; and Beth (Raymond) Ranneklev of Glen Allen, VA; brother, Barry Wiener of Sarasota and 10 grandchildren, Adam, Brian, Samuel, Claire, Sarah, Brandon, Jordan, Max, Andrew and Gabriel.

Harriette held multiple degrees in education and retired as a Reading Teacher from the New York City Board of Education in 2001. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed reading a good mystery, traveling with her family and playing Mah-Jongg.

Funeral service for Harriette will be held Monday, April 18, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home at Palms Memorial Park, 170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, FL 34232. A graveside service will follow at Temple Beth Sholom Cemetery, 901 Circus Blvd, Sarasota, Florida 34232
