Irene was born in Perth Amboy, NJ to Helen Creed and John Swallick, Sr. on September 21, 1930. She worked as a Pharmacy Technician at the Sayreville Pharmacy before retiring to move to Florida. Irene was a member of the President Park Volunteer Fire Company’s Ladies Auxiliary for many years.
Irene is survived by her husband, Ralph J. Lauro, her children, Nancy Wilkinson and Bonnie Howley, her grandchildren, Jacob Wilkinson, Nicole Senecal (Josh), Matthew Wilkinson (Yoana) and Rachel Howley (Bryan); her greatgrandchildren, Reid Senecal, Tanner Gage, Sophia Wilkinson, Bryce Gage and Thomas Wilkinson. She is preceded in death by her children; Linda Sieron, Laurie Sieron and Greg Sieron; her sister, Joan Homan and her brother, John Swallick, Jr.
Funeral services will be held at Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home at Palms Memorial Park on January 18, 2025 at 11:00 am followed by a luncheon reception. Burial will be at a later date.
