What wonderful memories I have of my sweet, beautiful sister. Everyone in our family loved her, and looked forward to seeing her. It was always a good time and great food. She was the last of my 'growing up family'. She taught me so much, from when I was a child to the last day of her life, she was still teaching me. It was such a blessing to have spent those last days with her, and I'm so grateful for the memories and for the extended 'family' she left me with. I miss her so much.

My heart goes out to all of you. As you well know, I know what you must be going through. At least you were able to talk with her until the end. My thoughts & prayers are with all of you at this time. We will miss seeing her at our mother-daughter luncheon. Our mothers are now together watching over all of us.

Irene was our neighbor.  But she was more than that.  We could sit and talk, about families and what our lifes were about.  She will be missed, by Bob and I.  But knowing Irene, she is so happy to have done such a great job raising her kids.  Most of all she is back with her love Tom.  What a great family.  So happy to have had her in my life. I have so many warm memories of the entire O'Brien family.  Irene  - "Mrs. O'Brien" to me - was always such a loving example of Christian warmth and faith.  From my early memories of her as my Sunday School teacher through to her final days, she was such a dear, generous person. Wishing you all peace in this difficult time.

Dear Kathy, Maureen, Sandy, Butch, Ed and other close relatives,

My memories of Aunt Babe are rich in history and love.  The care and love she gave to my mother each and every day will always be remembered. I did not realize until my mother's death, that Aunt Babe called her daily to make sure she was OK.  When Valdis died, she callled me each week and sent me lovely notes.  She was the one person who truly understood what I was going thru with the death of a beloved spouse.

She filled herself with love of her family and friends.  They always came first!!!  What great memories I will always have of your totally unselfish mother and grandmother.

My finest memories are when she lived on Colorado Ave with the parties, swimming and a home always filled with family and friends.

Take good care my dear cousins as you had an incrediable mother.
