Irene Renner Delgado

Irene was born in Tercio, Colorado to Rosendo and Celia Renner on January 1, 1925.

She worked as a Housekeeping Supervisor at The Brown Palace Hotel in Denver Colorado for many years. While working there, Irene had the opportunity to meet movie stars and music entertainers which she thoroughly enjoyed. She also enjoyed Camping, Fishing, and most of all spending time with family and friends. She was an excellent cook and baker and was always willing to share her talents with anyone who wanted to learn to cook or bake. She especially cherished helping with all her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, spanning 5 generations.

Irene is survived by her son, Emmett A Delgado, Jr. of Cannon City, CO., her daughters; Nancy Lee of Sarasota, FL., Sylvia Torres of Harker Heights, TX., Deb Delgado of Zimmerman, MN., Cynthia Bennett, of Denver, CO., a brother, Edward Renner of Parker, CO. and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband Emmett A. Delgado Sr., her daughter, Betty J Keese, her father and mother, Rosendo Renner and Celia Renner, three brothers, Roy Renner, Joe Renner, and Fred

Renner and one sister, Nora Salas.

Irene will be placed with her husband, Emmett A. Delgado on August 13, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd. Denver, CO 80235.
