Jacob "Jake" Darrell Hostetler, a Godly man, of Sarasota, Florida passed away on December 2, 2020, at the age of 99. "Jake" was born May 30, 1921, in Middlefield, Ohio to the late Eli E. and Lydia J. (Detweiler) Hostetler.
He is survived by his loving children, Robert (Susan), Mark (Susan), Joseph (Jane) and Marsha (John); cherished grandchildren, Jennifer (Bryan), Jason, Morgan (Chris), Cody (Lindsey) and great-grandchildren, Cora, Ava, Ezekiel, and Mattis. He is also survived by other family members, Teresa, Valentine, and Jasmine. Jake is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ella, daughter, Marjorie, and siblings, Dan, Eli, Noah, Elmer, Nancy, Lizzie, Sarah and Mary.
No funeral service will be held due to the Covid-19 pandemic. A memorial service will be planned in May of 2021, which would have been his 100th birthday.
