July 28, 1976 – October 21, 2026
It is with heavy hearts and deep love that we announce the passing of Jamie Cashmore, who passed away on October 21, 2026 at the age of 50, surrounded by loved ones.
Born on July 28, 1976 in Sarasota, Jamie lived a life filled with love, laughter, kindness, and adventure. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, wife, daughter, sister, friend, and her love and presence touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Jamie faced a long and courageous battle with cancer. Throughout her journey, she demonstrated strength, resilience, grace, and determination. Though her battle was difficult, she will be remembered for so much more than the illness she fought. She will be remembered for her beautiful spirit, the love she gave so freely, and the countless memories she created with those she loved.
She found her greatest joy in spending time with her family, enjoying days at the beach, making memories at the Strawberry Festival, and traveling to experience new places. Strong-willed and stubborn in the best way, she had a kind heart and a vibrant personality that could light up any room. She was often the life of the party, bringing laughter, energy, and joy wherever she went. Above all, she had a heart for others and a selflessness that never went unnoticed, always putting the needs and happiness of the people she loved before her own. Her love for her family and the memories they shared will forever be treasured.
Her greatest legacy is the love she leaves behind. She is survived by her husband David Grant. Her children Jeremy Cashmore, Jenna (Austin) Martin, Jade (Ethan) Hill. Her grandchildren Mackenzie Martin and Lucas Hill. Her parents Jeff Cashmore and Viola Cashmore. Her sibling Justin Cashmore and her cousin Isis Cashmore and many extended family members and dear friends. Her death was preceded by her grandparents Jim and Gladys Cashmore and Ervin and Maude Scott. Her uncle Guy Cashmore.
Although her absence leaves an immeasurable void, her love will continue to live on through the lives she touched, the lessons she taught, and the memories that will forever be treasured.
Forever loved, forever missed, and never forgotten.
