

On August 5, 2023, Jerald Scott Goldman of Sarasota, Florida passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family. He was 75 years old.
Jerry was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1948 and spent his early years living in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn. His taste for local Brooklyn fare including Nathan’s hot dogs, sour pickles, and bagels stayed with him all his life. After graduating from Tilden High School, Jerry began working in the family’s garment business in lower Manhattan. From there, Jerry went on to earn his MBA. Jerry worked in media production and was the Executive Producer/CEO of Talisman Media where he led many award winning projects.
Jerry was an audiophile and was passionate about music. He amassed a significant collection of vinyl during his lifetime. His appreciation for music covered all genres including classical, jazz, blues, country, and rock and roll. The only things closer to Jerry’s heart than music were the “love of his life”, his wife Terry, and their beloved dogs.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 29 years, Terry Drohlich, his best friend and brother, Paul Goldman, and sister in-laws, Patrice Goldman and Judy Drohlich. Jerry is also survived by his by his mother, Lenore McCrensky, his half-sister, Cara Mirabal, and his niece, Alisha Mirabal, as well as many beloved Drohlich and Goldman cousins.
