Tomorrow will be nine years since Jesus took you home. I dream of you and you’re still giving me the same sarcastic wisdom you always did. I watch the movies you took me to see and tell my kids how you were great at sneaking in candy and goodies. When we go to amusement parks I tell them how you’d make me ride the rides over and over again. My thrill-junkie, my rom-com date, the voice that booms from my mouth when I’m behind a snowbird...my Papi. I love you more than words can express.

I miss you so much.  I think of you every single day and I miss my friend. I would do anything I just want to talk to you. Why did this happen? I just don't understand this. I really miss you and I'm scared to not have you in my life.   I love you Papi.  I know you wanted to be strong.  I'm so sorry I'm not but I will be.

I miss you Papi. I wish I could talk to you and give you a hug.  I pray that God will allow me to see you in my dreams again. I love you . There is no greater father than you are. I will see you soon.

As I sit at the cemetery and talk to you, I know you can not hear me. My heart is so broken. I dream of you and I can not let go. Your my father. Why am I supposed to be without you in my life? Why you? I love you Papi

 I miss you so much. It's so hard to not talk to you or see you and it's harder not knowing when I will see you again. It's like a pain that never ends, a void like a hole in my heart.  You understood me and you were the one who talked to me about Jesus and his faithfulness.  Through all of the cancer treatment and the pain and the sadness, you continued to praise and Thank God.  It's Christmas Papi and you should be here opening presents and watching Christmas movies and holding grandchildren. Anthony has grown so much!! I remember how much you loved him.  I love you and miss you so much.  I haven't stopped thinking of you and I think of you every single day.

I love you Papi .  I just wish that you were here.   Oct 10th was here again and it was the fourth one. Since you left.  I will see you soon Papi, I love you.  Forever and For Always.. your daughter.

I think of you all the time. It seems like I am not really awake and you are still here, I just need to wake up from this long nightmare.  I am so glad you spoke to me in a stern way that evening. You told me not to ever turn my back on God and to stay in church and that I would see you again.  I often do not follow after God, but my own selfishness. I am grateful that you showed me there is a God who loves me and who died for me.  We will see eachother again Papi. I know you are not reading this, but it gives me a sense of connection when I write. You have a granddaughter now and she is beautiful.  That rock in my chest that I am trying to ignore, but it's because you never got to hold her. But you will in heaven.  I know this clearly , but my heart is still searching for you and sometimes I think I see you at the store or leaving in a parking lot.  I stop and stare and make sure I'm wrong. I love you Papi.   The Lord draws near to the broken hearted and I am always grateful that you raised me to know Jesus. I could not survive you being gone without Jesus.  I love you Papi! I just wish I could hear you laugh again and I wish we could go to Ms Chens for lunch.  I wish we could ride a rollar coaster again and I wish I could hear you say " I love you baby"   Because you did love me and you did protect me and I will never forget or replace you Papi. Lots of friends at church who look out for me, lots of father figures.  I'm thankful for this. But it will never be what you were.  I'll see you in heaven Papi, I love you Papi

Today I hear your voice on three old voice mails that you left for Sarah. She also let me see texts from you that you sent her . I heard your voice Papi. I heard love and tenderness and care and concern in your voice...I remember that so much. I heard protection and compassion. I love you so much Papi and today, I asking God for new mercy and new strength. I am shaken today and tears are flowing. Why, instead of being just thankful that I get to hear your voice..I am broken because I can't hear your voice unless I listen to your sweet messages. I love you Papi. I haven't forgotten . If I could turn back time and if I could have prayed enough or done enough that you would still be here. I know that you are in paradise and that if you had a choice, you would choose to remain with Jesus in his magnificent glory and love. I love you and have thought of you all weekend. There are times that I can not speak bc I am at loss for words. Did this really happen? I love you my precious father!

I wish I could hug you Papi! The Lord gave me a special dream that I saw you at home ( we were in the house on Spahn) and I ran to you and I hugged you and I cried. Then you hugged me tighter. I woke up feeling thankful that I felt your embrace and warmth and love. Oh, how hard it is that I can't hug you now.  I am six months  pregnant now with a baby boy! I can not wait to share with him all about you when he is old enough to understand. YOu are the best father in the world. I love you so much and I miss you with all of my heart! You were a great man. At a very young age you made me very aware that their was no shame in being a hard working man. You were a great father to your children and I hope to one day be just half of the great person you were. I looked up to you greatly. I miss you so much! My daddy, my Papi, my precious & loving daddy. I hurt every day and I ask God why? In five days, it will be one year..since I heard ur voice, since I held your hand and watched you leave to the arms of Jesus. I know you are with him, in his arms and in his presence. I looked for you at church last night at your seat... it hurts Papi. But I am thankful that you are at peace now and in the arms of our Jesus, safe and sound.
