He is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Joan; loving children, Randall Stein (Karen) of Bloomington, IL and Claudia Lindsey (Joe) of Minneapolis, MN; sisters, Betty Ann Baumann of Dickinson, ND and Dolores O'Donnell of Schaumburg, IL and cherished grandchildren, Jonathan Stein and Anne Stein and great granddaughter, Avery Rose Waldron.
Joe was a passionate Chicago Bears and Cubs fan, and was also a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus.
Visitation will be held from 5 until 7 PM on Tue. Mar. 28, 2017 at Palms-Robarts Funeral Home, 170 Honore Ave., Sarasota, FL 34232. A Funeral Service will be held at 10 AM on Wed. Mar. 30, 2017 at Our Lady of the Angels, 12905 E State Rd. 70, Lakewood Ranch, FL 34202. Joe will be laid to rest at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.
