Kalah "Shannon" Forrester

Family was everything to Shannon. She made sure we all knew how much she loved us! She met her Husband of 46 years in middle school. She was especially proud of her daughter, Krystal and her granddaughter Nycole. She loved being “Granny”. Even her nieces and nephews called her “Aunt Granny”. After her family her joy and devotion went to her dogs! In fact she was a lover of all animals! She was the kindest, most understanding and non judgemental person you would ever meet. She was generous to a fault! It is hard to conceive how we go on without her!!

Shannon is survived by her husband, Michael Forrester; her daughter Krystal Forrester (Chuck); her granddaughter Nycole Harrison; her dog Otis; her mother Ronda Smalley; her in-laws Sandy & Clyde Thompson; her two sisters Kenda Ketchum (Sam), Kristi Wesszo (Brad) and her brother-in-law Donald Forrester (Deb); her aunt Katy Buffington, her two nieces Toni Gandy (Troy), and Sara Vessel (Eric), her three nephews Brandon Wesszo (Bekah), her nephew Dylan Wesszo (Summer) and her nephew Derek Forrester (Shae). Great nephews and niece: Josh Ratliff Dustin Davis Colton Davis Trey Gandy Tanner Gandy, and numerous cousins in TX and NC, friends and co workers.

Shannon was preceded in death by her son Christopher Forrester; her father Kenneth Smalley; her brother Michael Smalley; her Dogs Scoober, Archie & Maggie, and her cat Hector Muchacha Carrera Rodriguez.

Visitation for Shannon will be held Friday, May 12, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home at Palms Memorial Park, 170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, FL 34232. Followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. A reception will occur following the service. Entombment will occur Friday, May 12, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Sarasota Memorial Park, 5833 S Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, FL 34231.
