She was born on October 7, 1950 in Lyons, New York to the late Karl and Norma Jean Signor.
Kay graduated from Riverview High School, and worked in food service at Alta Vista Elementary. She had been a dog show handler in the 80's and 90's, a member of classic car clubs - "cars and rods", she enjoyed horses, showing dogs and antiquing. She was a very sweet, kind and outgoing mother, wife, grandmother and friend. She put a smile on everyone's face that she came in contact with.
Kay is survived by her husband, Gary Scarbrough; her children, Gary Scarbrough (Marivel), and Karla Scarbrough; and grandchildren, Regina Belvin and Leia Scarbrough
A visitation for Kay will be held Saturday, December 28, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home at Palms Memorial Park, 170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, FL 34232. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Palms Memorial Park with a reception following in the funeral home.
Her family and friends will miss her dearly.
