Kayla Mae Yow, age 18 of Glen Burnie, Maryland, formerly of Manatee County, passed away October 28, 2016. She was born February 22, 1998 to Linda Lee Lowman and Todd Saletnik. Kayla had the great pleasure of being loved by so many amazing people growing up; especially, her foster mother, Lynda Cole; and her adoptive parents, Donald and Melinda Yow. Kayla attended Palmetto High School, where she ran track, and graduated from Old Mill High School in 2016. Kayla loved animals and enjoyed making everyone around her laugh. She will be forever remembered as courageous, strong and caring. Kayla is survived by her parents; her siblings, Cassandra Yow, Madison Walker, and Nickolas Routh; her grandparents, Estella Ellis, and Kathleen Hinckley; adoptive grandparents, Roger and Betty Reynolds, and David and Sandra Yow; and many extended family members and friends. A memorial service for Kayla will be on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 5pm at Palms Robarts Funeral Home; 170 Honore Ave in Sarasota, FL. Interment will take place at Palms Robarts Memorial Park.
