Kristine H. Smith

In loving memory of Kristine Helm Smith, affectionately known as "Kristi" unexpectedly passed away on November 19, 2025, in Sarasota, FL. Kristi was born on December 11, 1951 in Ruxton, Maryland and moved with her family to Sarasota, FL in 1966. Kristi was a graduate of Riverview High School, Class of 1969. Kristi attended the University of Florida, then traveled abroad around Europe prior to beginning her career in Real Estate.Once she met her beloved husband Theodore Rodney Smith they then started their sign company together. In 1984, they started A-1 Beverage Systems, Inc. Kristi was a proud member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Organization. Kristi enjoyed making jewelry, sewing, gardening, arts, crafts, music, and most importantly making new friends everywhere she went. Kristi's pride and joy were her "Grand Girls", she loved them dearly along with her cat Dora Lee. Kristi is preceded in death by her laid husband Theodore Rodney Smith, her parents George & June Helm, her sister Georgette Helm. Kristi is survived by her daughter Elizabeth (Raymond) Reyes, her granddaughters Isabella & Aryanna, her son Rodney Smith (Tricia) her sister Sandra Suter and her three children, her Brother in Law Myron (Denise) Smith his daughter. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Oakhurst Community Clubhouse 4255 Oakhurst Cir E, Sarasota, FL 34233 on Sunday, December 7th from 12-3pm.
