I just want to say  what a great dad you were to me. You believed in me for who I am and whenever I needed advice I would always call you to steer me in the right direction. I learned alot from you even how to bet the horses. I will never forget you the one man I am proud to call Dad.

Thank you for everything you have been and done in my life, I will never forget how you always protected me from the "bad" guys like a father would his child, You took risks and did not care what the consiquences would be just to protect me. you have been a wonderful grandfather to my children, they will miss you terribly, especially the "frog" in your throat...lol...It still feels unreal that you are not here. I'm not sure how to be without you yet in my life. I may not have always agreed with you or like how you handled certain things, but you were a strong father figure in my life and I respected your opinions and advice even if I didn't listen to them all the time. I will never forget you ...EVER...I Love you...

Although I am your step daughter I never considered it to be that way. You were a great inspiration in mine and my children's life. I could'nt have asked for a stronger more knowledgable, fun, couragious,loving caring man.  I realized the times you were hard on us was only to teach us te right way in life. It's been 44 years, but seems like only yesterday... we've been family nearly forever. Even before you were Aunt Bertha's "German son"!  Many good memories to recall.... some tremendous scores, and some that got away. Adopting the Uncle Buck persona that fit you so well, you enthralled and teased the kids for many years (and generations) with antics and tales that were larger than life, just like you, Guy --- larger than life.   Sleep well, my 'brother' and old friend.

So very sorry for your loss. You are in our prayers.
