He was born in Chicago on May 15, 1932. Lee graduated from University of Chicago College and Law School. He was married to Claire Steiner on August 17, 1958, until she passed in 2017. They lived in Chicago and then Highland Park, Illinois for many years, and spent winters on Longboat Key.
Lee had a career in law and real estate brokerage.
Lee was well known among his friends for being an amateur gourmet chef.
He had a passion for singing and was a member of multiple choirs.
Lee is survived by son Phil (Marcia), daughter Leslie Cordon, grandson Oliver, granddaughter Hilary, and sister Marilyn Lichtman.
Services will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday October 21st at Temple Emanuel-El, 151 McIntosh Rd, Sarasota, FL 34232, with reception following.
