Lisa Anne Castorani

Lisa was born on January 14, 1960 in Mount Vernon, NY to Paul Santostasi and Rose Marie (Falasca) Santostasi. On June 17, 1978, Lisa married her high school sweetheart James Castorani, and spent over 41 years happily married and raised two successful daughters, Dr. Candis Castorani and Jamie Lee (Castorani) Hegemier.

Lisa was a passionate, strong, and loving woman who loved fiercely. Not only was she the rock for her family, she was a second mom to many as well as a loyal friend, devoted wife, and sister. She loved to shop, dance with her grandkids, and cruise the Bahamas. She was known for her flair, no nonsense way about her, and her compassionate spirit.

Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Paul, and her mother, Rose Marie, as well as her granddaughter, Grace Hegemier. She is survived by her husband, James, her two children, Candis (William) and Jamie (Jay), as well as her grandchildren, Jaelyn, Will, Leah, Paige, and Sophia. She is also survived by her sister’s Donna (Dan), Gina (Don), and brother, Robert.

Lisa’s immense light and spirit will never be forgotten as she has impacted so many around her. To celebrate her life, A visitation for Lisa will be held Sunday, February 23, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home at Palms Memorial Park, 170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, FL 34232. . Flowers can be sent to the funeral home.
