A cherished friend, devoted wife to her late husband Terrence “Terry” Luck, and beloved member of her community, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, dedication, and meaningful connection.
Born and raised in Montreal, Lorraine began her career in broadcasting, where her presence became familiar to many through her work with CJAD Radio. Her time in radio reflected her natural gift for communication, her curiosity about the world, and her genuine ability to connect with people from all walks of life.
Later in life, Lorraine embraced a new chapter when she relocated to Miromar Lakes, Florida. There, she continued to thrive both professionally and personally as part of the team at Miromar Development. Her colleagues remember her as dedicated, gracious, and always ready with a kind word or helping hand.
Lorraine shared a remarkable 52-year marriage with her beloved husband, Terry—a partnership filled with love, laughter, and adventure. Together, they built a life centered on family, friendship, and making the most of every moment. They traveled often, entertained generously, and were known for their shared love of boating, golf, tennis, and time spent outdoors. Lorraine especially cherished being on the water aboard their boat, Lady Luck, creating memories with Terry, their friends, and their beloved dogs.
A natural connector, Lorraine brought people together with ease and sincerity. Like Terry, she was deeply committed to her community and supported numerous charitable causes, both in Florida and in her native Montreal. She will be remembered for her warmth, her strong work ethic, and the genuine care she extended to everyone she met.
Lorraine leaves behind loving family, dear friends, her beloved dog Lola, and colleagues who will deeply miss her and carry her memory forward with love and gratitude.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish to honor Lorraine’s memory may do so through acts of kindness or by making a donation to a charity of their choice.
Lorraine Luck’s legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the communities she helped shape.
