Lorraine H. Montgomery, 87, of Sarasota, FL, and formerly of Chicago, IL, passed away on April 26, 2013. She was born Oct, 16, 1925 in Chicago to Edward and Elsie Heckendorff. She was involved with many civic organizations throughout her life, including serving as the Chairman of the Republican Woman’s Club of Sarasota, as well as an active real estate broker and independent insurance agent. Lorraine is preceded in death by her husband, William R. Montgomery. She is survived by her son, Paul S. Montgomerie (wife, Belinda G. Montgomerie) of Sarasota; grandchildren, Charlie and Simon Montgomerie; sister, Elsa H. Turner of Rock Hill, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews.
