

Born on February 24, 1942, on the island of St. Vincent in the West Indies, she was the daughter of the late Evlyn and Hannah Gibson. When she was a teenager, Lottie moved to Pittsburgh, PA then moved to Sarasota, FL in 1982. She was a homemaker and then started an in-home daycare for several years. She was a faithful servant of the LORD and loved Jesus, studying the Bible, writing Bible studies and shared the gospel to anyone that would listen.
Lottie is survived by her daughter, Debra (Ronald) Latronica; daughter, Sharon (Louie) McLaughlin; son Thomas (Jennifer) Whigham; sister Molly Caine; sister Lynn (Robert) Glenn; sister AJ Bacchus; eight grandchildren, Ronald Latronica, Tiffany (Drew) Smith, Nicole (Joshua) Miller, Stephanie (William) Reynolds, Malori (Taylor) Hodge, Renee (Kyler) Thurman, Andrea (Danny) Bliss, and Victoria Latronica; nine great-grandchildren, Preston, Landon, and Brielle Smith, McKenzie and Kylie Miller, Sloan and Navy Reynolds, Aurora and Ansel Hodge.
In addition to her parents, Lottie was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Whigham; sister, Janet Wise; sister, Marva Gibson; brother, Samuel Gibson; two grandchildren, Ronald Anthony Latronica and Nicole Marie Latronica.
A graveside service will be held at Sarasota Memorial Park on January 24, 2025 at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Dave Anderson of Faith Baptist Church officiating.
