Mabel McCauley, 102 of Sarasota, Florida, formerly of Rockland County, New York, passed away on May 11, 2011.
Mabel is survived by her daughter, Harriet E. Loftus of Sarasota; her grandson, Michael P. Yacovone of Sarasota; nieces, Margaret Roach, Roberta Philips and Helen Juliani and three great granddaughters, Alyse, Loren and Ashley.
In World War II, mabel worked in a defence factory. She also worked at Butrick's pattern company. Later in life, she was employed by the family of James Freeman, Esq. and his wife Margaret as a Nanny. She loved being with the Freeman family and was happiest in Rockland County, New York.
She was muched loved and will be missed.
A memorial service will be held at The Pines of Sarasota, on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at 2:30pm.
