Margery M. Mansbach (Marge), born January 1, 1937, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2014. She had resided in Sarasota for the last nine (9) years, but she was New York City born and bred and never lost the "attitude".
She is survived by her husband, Jack; her daughter, Patti Markman; grandchildren, Hayley and Aimee Markman; stepdaughters, Lynn Iseppon and Shari Wallwork, sons in law, Mario & Joe and stepgrandchildren, Amanda and Nicole Iseppon, and Jessica and Allie Shaffer. Her extended family included brother and sister in law, Fred Mansbach and Toni Landau and niece, Alix Mansbach. She is predeceased by her son, Andrew Markman, and as this is being written, she is in a beautiful place with the biggest internal smile imaginable as she looks into his eyes and holds his hands.
Marge loved her Sarasota friends, the lunches, the dinners, the phone calls, the flora and fauna and especially her hairdresser appointments!
Funeral services will be held at Temple Emanu-el, 151 McIntosh Road, on Wednesday, February 5th, at 2:00pm.
Her voice, her smile, the balance she brought to her family, and her love will be sorely missed.
