Rojas, Maria R., 85, of Sarasota entered into rest March 28, 2011.
Born in Mexico, Maria moved to the area in 1976. She was preceded in death by her husband, Esteban.
Survivors include two sons, Isaias and Alejandro; six daughters, Francisca, Maria Luisa, Olga, Hilda, Irma and Sonia; three brothers, Jose, Pedro and Sabino; two sisters, Maria and Cruz; 20 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 1 p.m. Friday, April 1, 2011 at St. Jude Catholic Church, 3930 17th St.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 31, 2011 at Palms-Robarts Funeral Home.
