Marilyn Irene Thompson, 74, of Sarasota, FL, formerly of Canada died January 4, 2012.
Services will be private by the family. Palms-Robarts Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Survivors include her daughters, Diana Barrett and Laura Barrett, both of Sarasota and Kelly Jackson of Hawaii; a brother, Wayne Thompson of Arcadia and two grandsons.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society.
