Martha D. Meyers, age 71, of Sarasota, Florida passed away on December 15, 2025. She was a native of Sarasota, born on January 19, 1954. Martha graduated from the University of South Florida, with a Bachelor’s Degree in International Studies. She married Joanne Larson on January 21, 2015.
Martha had a career in Counseling and Business Outreach for Manatee Technical College. She was a member of many Civic and Professional organizations in the Manatee Community.
She had a passion for making a difference in people’s lives. Martha’s other passion was traveling, especially cruises. Martha was truly a shining star and gentle soul to many, especially to her family whom she loved deeply.
Martha is survived by her wife, Joanne; daughter, Jules; her brother, Randall Meyers; and sister-in-law, Kyong Meyers.
Services will be private.
