He was born June 22, 1929 in Brooklyn, New York, the son of the late Eli and Sadie Youngerman.
Marvin was a long- time member of Temple Beth Shalom in Sarasota and for many years was secretary of the Men’s Club.
He was employed as an executive in the carpet industry and also served as president with Bruce Hardwood Floors.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Arlene Youngerman; children Marcia Youngerman, Erika Pfeiffer (Doug Pfeiffer), Steven Youngerman (Randi Youngerman); grandchildren Sam Youngerman (Rachel), Ansley Youngerman, Morgan Youngerman, Drew Pfeiffer and Luke Pfeiffer.
Marvin’s legacy was a generous heart, strong sense of family, and a sharp wit and sense of humor that always brought a smile to everyone he encountered.
He was laid to rest at Temple Beth Shalom cemetery on January 24,2023.
