Mary Ann Fingerle

Mary Ann Fingerle passed away peacefully in Sarasota, Florida on July 26, 2025. Mary Ann was born on August 13, 1944, in Altoona, Pennsylvania to John M. (“Maxie”) Watson and Erdine L. (Evans) Watson. She graduated from Landsdowne - Aldan High School in 1962. Mary Ann moved to Sarasota, Florida in 1982 and began working for Southeast Bank. Eventually, Mary Ann became a licensed realtor in the State of Florida as well as a sought-after paralegal. Mary Ann worked for many large and small law firms throughout Sarasota, both as an employee and through a temporary employment agency. She had a strong work ethic and took pride in her attention to detail, meticulous work and serving clients to the best of her ability. Mary Ann also served as a guardian ad litem in Sarasota County and as a court appointed guardian. Mary Ann was a very generous person who loved to laugh and be with those she loved. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Alfred A. Fingerle, and her nephew Wayne R. Berube. Survivors include her sister, Sandra L. Berube, her nephew Jon R. Berube, her niece Alyson L. (Joshua) Visnov, her great niece Lainey E. Visnov, her stepsons, James (Elaina) Fingerle and David Fingerle, her step grandson, James Nicholas Fingerle, and many friends. A celebration of life reception for Mary Ann will be held Sunday, August 10, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home at Palms Memorial Park, 170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, FL 34232.
