Melissa was born on August 4, 1975, in Dixon, Illinois. She graduated from the University of Southern California and went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law.
Melissa built a distinguished career in intellectual property and patent law with the law firm of Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler LLP. She was admitted to practice before the New York State Bar Association, the State Bar of Nevada, and the United States Patent Bar.
Outside of her professional accomplishments, Melissa had a passion for travel and a deep love for her cats.
Melissa is survived by her parents, Agnus and David Mandrgoc, and her brother, Stephen Mandrgoc.
Cremation has been chosen, and no services are planned at this time.
