Melvin P. Miller, 79, of Sarasota, FL, formerly of Middlebury, IN, died on June 22, 2012.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, June 25, 2012 at Palms-Robarts Funeral Home in Sarasota, FL.
Services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Monday, June 25, 2012 at the funeral home.

Survivors include his loving wife of 59 years, Lavina; daughter, Myra (Jeffrey) Lengacher of Goshen, IN; son, Richard (Barbara)
Miller of Myakka City; sisters, Katie Miller, Mary Miller, Edna Pendergrass, Betty Miller; brothers, Jacob, Raymond, Ezra and Omer Miller; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Melvin was preceded in death by his son, Chip and brother Lloyd.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the World's Attic or Tidewell Hospice, Inc.
