So sorry to hear about  Mike, Colleen.  Want to let you know we’re thinking of you and Mike’s family here in Portland, ME

I played softball with and against Mike in the Sarasota Senior Softball league the past five years. He always gave his all and never complained about anything. Prayers to his family and friends, and may he rest in eternal peace.

Our little brother in 2022 on a sibling trip to Big Sur.  We made so many wonderful family memories these past few years as he bravely made the most of his time.  Missing him every day.

I am so sorry for your loss. Mike was my supervisor at Synergent for many years. He gave his employees work-life balance before it was commonplace. Thanks to him, I could adjust my work schedule and never miss important events in my daughters’ lives. I will never forget that kindness and consideration— for me and for everyone who worked with him. May he rest in peace.

Mike was the epitome of unflappable when I had the pleasure of working with him at the Maine League. He was always gracious and had a wry sense of humor that was always perfectly timed. I was saddened to hear of his passing and send my deepest condolences to his wife and family. Mike was sure one of the good ones.

My thoughts and prayers are with you, Colleen and your family at this time...so very sorry Mike was ill and passed away.  What can you say about Mike: what a wonderful, kind hearted, quick-witted man!!!...  I worked under Mike for several years and have a "funny" story to share:  Mike's birthday is on the same day my father passed away so every year around August 20th; I would wish Mike "Happy Birthday" and Mike would wish me "Happy Death Day".  Might seem odd to most people but I found this annual exchange somehow comforting.  Thank you, Mike... knowing you is a true blessing I will forever cherish!!!...

We were truly saddened to learn of Mike’s passing. Our deepest sympathies go out to Colleen and his family and friends.

We both knew Mike when we worked with him at the Maine League. Such a forthright and dedicated guy with a bright mind, quick wit and quicker smile. It’s no surprise that Mike persevered to the very end.

We appreciate the time we spent with him and we will remember him fondly.

Oh my, I don't know where to start. I was hired by Mike at Synergent in 2004 and worked under his leadership for many years. One thing about Mike that will always stand out,  was his willingness to help anyone. I was sadden and shocked to hear of his passing. Thinking of Colleen and family during this difficult time. My deepest condolences.

My deepest sympathies go out to Colleen and Family.  I was just shocked beyond belief, Michael was such a picture of health for the 20 plus years that I knew and worked with him.  Mike was a delight to have as an employee and co-worker!!!!!! Kind, caring, compassionate, he would do anything for anyone. As the Manager for  the Supply, Printing and Direct Mail Services Division (later renamed, Direct Marketing Services),  he was the glue that held it all together and  kept me and his staff headed in the right direction, always totally satisfying all of his internal and external customers. Michael was hugely responsible for our success for all the years he worked for us. It was a pleasure to have known and worked with him.

I met Mike while working at Synergent. He was one of the kindest and most caring people there, always a smile no matter how busy or overwhelming the workload. He was a go to guy who always took the time to help others and answer their questions. I hope his family will find comfort in knowing his kind and generous nature made an impact on so many people. He will be missed.

I heard about the passing of Mike several days ago. My condolences go out to his family and friends. I met Mike playing senior softball in Sarasota and it was an honor and pleasure to play with him. Not only was he an very good and versatile player who was comfortable playing anywhere on the field, but more importantly he was a great person and had the perfect attitude for playing senior ball. He played to have fun and enjoy the comradery, but always gave it his all. In addition to his other skills, he had "legs" and regularly pinch ran for players, which was always a big help. And it was always very nice to see Colleen sitting in the bleachers to watch the games. My only regret is not getting to know him better. I don’t know where to begin. There are only a few people that I’ve met in this world that I have the greatest respect and love.  I’ve lost two of such people in the last six months.  Michael made me laugg Every time he came to the warehouse and I especially loved when he brought Sid, who was so out of control.  The world has lost a beautiful spirit—kind, helpful and with the attitude that every human being on this planet should have —one minute at a time— one hour at a time —one day at a time.   it has been my honor to have Michael Doyle in my life and I know that he’s still here with us.   I am just thrilled that I had an opportunity to spend  a few moments in my life with such a wonderful person.   thank you Michael and Colleen for being   in my life and for always being in my life💖

My uncle Mike was one of my heroes. Not many people know the impact that he had on my life. It was a quiet, subtle but impactful one. 

As I’ve transversed the ups and downs of my life. I always remember getting a call from him and it was always when I needed it most. I don’t know much about his own struggles in his past but something allowed us to stand side by side and he would help me trudge through the darkness and not feel alone.

His ability to come to the rescue without flashy, shiny armor or a horde of archers behind him, just a pure heart and ears - open to listening - is beyond admirable and something I have yet to find in another to this day. He has helped me see the light among the all consuming darkness countless times. 

I admire his fight because only the strongest iron makes it through the hottest flames and he ensured some flames. I think in the end it made him an even more admirable hero in my eyes. 

He will be missed and he will be remembered.

Mike was a great friend and brother-in-law that I loved like a brother.  We shared many great adventures together, from political campaigning, softball, and track club volunteering, to zip-lining, mountain climbing, and boating large and small.  Mike was always willing to participate and contribute in any way he could.  He faced his fears head on and displayed his courage and determination to the very end.  He was a dedicated and hard worker and a fun person to be around due to his upbeat, positive attitude.  I feel fortunate to have known Mike for all these years and have many fond memories of our time together.  Mike will be sadly missed and never forgotten.

Mike was an amazing person! Thankful to have him as our neighbor!  We are here for you Colleen- anytime any day!!!!

This was the day Mike concurred the knife’s edge trail on Katahdin. Such an impressive person.

Mike was in one of the bravest people I’ve ever known - but heights were NOT his thing. This coarse was crazy high and challenging and he did it anyway. Such an impressive human in every way.

Mike & Colleen were always up for any roadtrip or plan for high adventure! We had so much FUN over our 40+ years of friendship. RIP brother. We will keep your spirit close for the remainder of our adventures on this side.

I met MIKE playing senior softball,  Mike is the consumate team player, he was my favorite teammate,  he was selfless,  without ego , I feel blessed to have played the game of softball with him, to know him casually yet be struck by his inherent goodness, his attributes were  endless for those who knew him on a personal level, I will remember him in the future when I walk out the right field and say a prayer in his memory,

Mike was an amazing person. It was such a treat to play next to him in the outfield. With his incredible speed and fierce determination, the ball had no chance of passing him. Our softball league has lost a great friend and teammate. Mike, you will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

Mike was an incredible uncle, husband, friend, and so much more. An honor to have known him & thankful for the way he loved my Aunt so well. 🩷 loved until the very end!

Mike fought the good fight. Colleen was his biggest cheerleader. I know how much you will miss him but heaven is lucky to have him. Mike was a good man and I will miss him. We quickly became friends when he started playing senior softball. Even with the physical issues Mike had to deal with; he was a good player. Mike and my wife shared the same doctor for their chemo treatments and that brought us even closer together. 
Colleen, my condolences. It was always fun having you at the games cheering Mike on. Please take care.

I was so lucky to have known Mike and to share the field with him for a few years. Playing softball together created memories I’ll always cherish—his laughter, his sportsmanship, and the way he lifted everyone around him. Mike’s strength and kindness touched all of us, and he will be deeply missed. My heart goes out to Colleen and Mike’s family. He was absolutely the definition of a good neighbor!  He will be missed on Poplar Street where everyone thought highly of him. His five year battle was heroic. May he rest in peace.

Mike was part of our championship team last fall. He played through pain and never let on how he was feeling. I still have his championship shirt which I was going to give him next season. I will bring it to the service.
