Norma Helen Selby, 86, of Sarasota, formerly of Flint, Michigan passed away on September 26, 2012.
Born in Royal Oak, MI to William Richard and Helen Mae Homer, she retired from AC Spark Plug, a division of General Motors in Flint.
She enjoyed playing cards and other games, reading, crocheting, bowling, dancing, flowers and family events.
She was a benefactor of many charities.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Everett Lloyd Selby, her son, Mark Michael and her sisters, Joyce James and Patricia Thomas.
She is survived by her daughters, Sandra (William) Palacios, Janice Cagle, Pamela (Christopher) Hutchinson and daughter-in-law, Vickie (Michael) Brock; grandchildren, Carrie, Brian, Christy, Bradley, Julie, Timothy and priscilla, 8 great grandchildren and beloved nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank The Springs at Lake Pointe Woods for all the care and comfort they provided her in her final days.
Inurnment will be at Palms-Robarts Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the United Kidney Foundation in Norma's memory.
She will be remembered for her vibrant spirit in addition to being a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She will be forever remembered.
